Yorkshire’s finest purveyors of whacked-out sounds Allusondrugs are pleased to announce a run of co-headline UK tour dates with fellow Leeds rock quintet and close friends Fizzy Blood for June 2016 – full details below.

Both bands are firm long-term friends and supporters of each other’s music, and in true DIY fashion decided to take the opportunity of a few quiet weeks in each other’s schedules to hit the road together just for the hell of it, insatiable road dogs that they are.

Marking themselves out as two of the most promising young Northern bands on the UK rock scene right now, between them they’ve scored glowing praise from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, The Skinny, Big Cheese, Artrocker, Clash, Discovered Magazine, UPSET, BBC Radio 1, Scuzz TV and many more – making this tour the perfect opportunity to see two of the renowned Leeds music scene’s hottest young exports.

The Fizzy Blood gang are currently on the road with Max Raptor following a UK tour supporting The Hyena Kill, a trip to Korea for Zandari Fest and a much-lauded jaunt to this year’s South By South West in Austin, Texas.

Meanwhile, the Allusondrugs family are currently writing and demoing new material, having just finished a successful stint on the ScuzzTV UK Throwdown tour alongside Max Raptor and Press To Meco.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now and available from www.allusondrugs.com or www.fizzyblood.com.

About Allusondrugs:
Allusondrugs formed in the summer of 2012. Since then, their very individual take on a melding of psych, pop, shoegaze and grunge has caught the eyes and ears of the likes of Kerrang, Rock Sound and Radio One, as well as live audiences across the UK. Late 2014 / early 2015 saw the band beginning to build a solid fan-base following high-profile support tours and shows with Enter Shikari, Marmozets, Lonely The Brave and Pulled Apart By Horses. An extensive period of headline touring throughout 2015 and a packed festival season across the summer has only seen the buzz continue to build.

About Fizzy Blood:
In two short years and with just one EP under their belts, Fizzy Blood were almost immediately invited to play Download Festival and subsequently personally invited to tour with legendary punk outfit The Dead Kennedys. Further tour dates with Press To Meco, Freeze The Atlantic, Attention Thieves, The Hyena Kill and more followed before the band retreated back to their hometown of Leeds late last year to reflect on how best to capitalize on their stellar start. Gaining a raft of fans at the likes of Clash Magazine, Artrocker, BBC Radio 1, Goldflakepaint and more, the journey is only just beginning for this quintet.
