Using primarily acoustic guitars, pounding percussion and punchy brass sections, this quirky southern rooted folk/rock band are both light-hearted and fun in their music, but serious in the message. Enhancing this odd combination of music, are witty, often tongue in cheek lyrics that bring the listener to reflect, and smile as they find their foot tapping to the beat. The style itself becomes a game in figuring out where they will go next!
This is largely due to the way they mix folk, rock, funk, country, and jazz together; added to this “Mutt-Like” combination, they often blend into the mix instruments that are rarely used in music today; hoping to dabble in many cultures along their journey. One thing that can be said about them is; Dabster Gentlemen work hard to be fun, energetic, and heartfelt.
