Having a particular kind of love for music from a young age, John Thomason started writing and recording his own material since he was 14. Originating from acoustic guitar, the first two releases VENETIAN BLINDS (2010) and COSMIC CARTOON (2017), both followed that singer-songwriter feel.

It was the start of 2018 that Thomason felt he wanted to take a different direction and do something new. Featuring acoustic guitar on only one song, Wake up on Fire is the step he needed to take to open up his musical horizons and create songs with no boundaries. The alum is a testament to where he is at with his sound right now.
