Remain Anchored is a brother/sister duo from Eastern North Carolina. Patrick and Hannah Rose are talented songwriters, musicians, and vocalists with a passion for God. Their group title comes from Hebrews 6:19 – “We have this hope as a steadfast anchor, which reaches the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.”- and is a testament to their rooted faith in God.

The Emerging Recording Artists began in the summer of 2011, during the Edenton Music and Water Festival. Patrick was scheduled to perform as a solo artist that day, but God had other plans in mind. With Patrick battling a sore throat, younger sister Hannah graciously stepped up to the plate to help her brother through his set, and Remain Anchored was born!!

Over the course of the next few years, the duo sang at various acoustic festivals, youth events, and local churches, all while growing in their musicality and faith. Some of their more notable appearances include NC United Methodist Eastern Conference Pilgrimage, Relay for Life, Elizabeth City Potato Festival, and Chowan County Regional Fair. God would open another door for the group in 2013 when they were introduced to National Recording Artists, Paula & Angie. This introduction served as the beginning of a beautiful friendship and eventually led to Remain Anchored being signed by Angie Greene Gray in 2016 to her Indie Label – G2 Music Group, LLC.

In January 2017, the duo traveled to the legendary Daywind Studios in Hendersonville, TN to record their debut self-titled EP, comprised of all original music written by Patrick and Hannah, and produced by Angie. The radio single from the EP – “Footsteps” – is available now on select Internet and Terrestrial radio stations and Soundcloud. The EP released on April 28, 2017, at all major digital retailers, select stores (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc) and via their website.

For Patrick and Hannah, it’s all about Jesus and growing in their relationship with Him. One of their favorite verses is Psalm 16:8–“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Even with all of the excitement from performing for crowds, Patrick and Hannah know their performances are all about God. All glory and honor go to Him. Using a story from Sheila Walsh, they liken themselves to the donkey that carried Jesus into Jerusalem during his triumphant entry before going to Calvary. They are merely the messengers of the one true King. Whether they are in their living room harmonizing or singing on stage, they want God’s light to shine and encourage others to seek Him.
