1. Ain`t Got The Heart Of Kings and Captains 3:08

Of Kings and Captains the ultra-smooth and catchy “Ain’t Got No Heart” and, by doing so, keep their gold to the grindstone with glorious hooks, blissful harmony, and a sense of seasoned songwriting second to none. This is one of those rare tracks that is equally powerful as it is pleasurable and you will notice this straight from the intro as you feel your feet begin to stomp while you simultaneously hum along.

About Of Kings and Captains
2016 saw the boys from ‘sunny-Stourbridge’ release an iTunes top 100 EP; support cult legends The Fratellis and Reverend and the Makers, and take over Kerrang! Radio, BBC Radio and Brum Radio’s A list with their single Jack My Boy.

Give ‘Em Hell Son is the latest offering from Luke Wassell, JD Lomas, and Dean Greatbatch and made it to the top of the iTunes Rock chart, peaking at number 8, in addition to an impressive 83 on the iTunes Album chart.

Ain’t Got the Heart will be the second radio offering from the EP, recorded with acclaimed producers Gavin Monaghan (The Twang, Editors, Nizlopi) and Joseph Murray, to be released in November.

Luke says of the song: “Ain’t Got The Heart is a song about the awkwardness that comes from not being sure how someone else feels about you. When they’re on your mind all the time, but you’re not sure you’re on theirs. Ain’t Got The Heart is basically about not having the nerve to “make a move” and the risk of being rejected”!

Adding cult legends The Fratellis, Reverend and the Makers and Reef to their catalogue of support slots earlier this year (which already includes McFly, Kids in Glass Houses and a five date stadium tour supporting Bon Jovi), Luke and JD will be rounding off 2016 with a selection of special acoustic shows across the UK.

Looking ahead to 2017, Of Kings and Captains will be writing and recording new material in the earlier months of the year, followed by gigs across the country in early spring. Summer is already looking exciting with a place confirmed at punter favorite Glastonbudget Festival 2017, plus more in the pipeline.
