‘Life’ is French Alps Tiger’s sixth single and comes ahead of their debut E.P, to be released digitally and on 12” vinyl in the spring of 2023. FFO: Weezer, FIDLAR, Wavves, & Bass Drum of Death. Produced by Chris Dimas of Canada’s Surf Dads & Bleeker, Russ (French Alps Tiger) explains, “If you can spank your entire ethos on living into a 2 and a half minute bop, you might be bad at being a person. ‘Life’ is our rage-stomping ode to embracing the stuff they didn’t mention at the end of Train-spotting, cuz you never woulda made it going straight anyway. A pack of tissues for your daddy issues, and a warm pint of “I didn’t ask to be born, Mam!”
Named after the elusive tiger found only in the French Alps of South Wales, they like writing music that reminds them of being kids and playing shows that remind you too. Mixing fun energetic rhythms with raw melodies, wavey guitars and lyrics about your mum.
