About Ingrid Frosland:
Ingrid Frosland brings you music that walks from acoustic folk to upbeat Scandinavian pop. Whether it be lead by fragile fingerpicking on the guitar, or a not so gentle banjo groove, her music works to captivate your attention with honest and real words that travels down your spine, and melodies that underpin the importance of the lyrics. Ingrid is currently dividing her time between Liverpool and Norway, and her ambivalent relationship with where her home is, is a recurring theme in her song writing, and it ends up sounding something like a Scandinavian mix between Regina Spektor, Gabrielle Aplin and Daughter.

Over the last year, Ingrid Frosland and her band have played several concerts and venues, both in Liverpool and in Norway, with the highlights being Liverpool Sound City 2013 and 2014, a festival called Musikkfest Oslo, support for Jonas Alaska and the final of a Norwegian music award in Ålesund. Two of her songs, ‘You Said’ and ‘Taking You With Me’ have received national radio play in Norway, and several others have frequented the more local radio station NRK Sørlandet, as well as being played on BBC Merseyside and on Tom Robinson’s Mixtape on BBC Radio 6 Music.
