Chideo, the first interactive charity broadcast network, today announced it has expanded its roster of award-winning musicians with its newest ambassador, Grammy® Award-winning rock band Train. The legendary rock band will leverage its relationship with Chideo to continue its commitment to San Francisco-based organization Family House, which serves as a home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

In an exclusive video on the charity network, lead singer Pat Monahan explains the band’s connection to Family House and offer fans a chance to ask band members questions or make suggestions for content they’d like to see on Chideo. The band’s latest music video, “Angel in Blue Jeans,” also is featured on the site.

“We are passionate about helping local families who need support, care and housing during their time of greatest need,” Monahan said. “By partnering with Chideo, we can increase support for Family House and shine a spotlight on the amazing work they do for families who use the UCSF Medical Center.”

Train is just the latest artist to join Chideo’s line-up of Ambassadors from the music industry. Others include the legendary Don Henley, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers KISS, Michael Bolton, Clint Black, Darius Rucker, Boyz II Men, Brantley Gilbert and Linkin Park, with whom Chideo is teaming up all this month to raise funds for Music for Relief by offering a once-in-a-lifetime fan experience at the London finale of the band’s European tour.

Fans of Linkin Park who register on Chideo’s website or download the Chideo App (available for iOS and Android) and then donate $10 or more to Music for Relief will gain access to various exclusive rewards, including recognition as a supporter on Chideo and other cool Linkin Park merchandise. One lucky sweepstakes winner and his/her guest will dine with members of the band and see the final two shows of the Hunting Party Tour in London. The deadline to enter the sweepstakes is 11:59 p.m. EST on October 30.

“We believe that everyone is a fan of someone or is an advocate for a particular cause,” said Chideo Founder and CEO Todd Wagner. “That’s why Chideo has teamed up with such a diverse and impressive group of celebrity ambassadors – from authors to actors to athletes to musicians – everyone can find something of interest on our platform and, more importantly, be a force for good.”
