Thirdstory release their debut album ‘Cold Heart’ today via Virgin EMI. Executive-produced by Grammy-winner Malay (Frank Ocean, Zayn, Sam Smith), the 11-track album blends the group’s signature soulful three-part harmonies with hard-hitting lyricism and R&B-influenced production, delivering a genre-transcending sound that has earned the band a devoted grassroots following. Cold Heart will mark the group’s first release since having seen great success with their 2017 3-song EP, Searching, which has gained upward of 6 million Spotify streams and has left fans wanting more.
The band are heading out on a U.S. headline tour in the spring. They kick things off at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, Arizona on 20th March and will pass through major cities across the US including a hometown date at Brooklyn Steel on 14th April. They will wrap things up at The Parish in LA on April 20th.
Thirdstory is the stage name of soulful NYC-based group Ben Lusher, Richard Saunders, and Elliott Skinner. The band has racked up millions of views on YouTube since they began posting covers on the platform in 2015.
