About Yuni Wa
Princeton Coleman, known by his stage name Yuni Wa, is a Music Producer, DJ, and Musician from Little Rock, Arkansas. Inspired by artists such as Daft Punk, Saint Pepsi, J Dilla, and Flying Lotus, Yuni’s musical family tree is steeped in some of the most unique acts music has ever seen, and he is very much one of the first waves of Gen Zers to create his interpretation of the underground producer movement. Yuni Wa began releasing music in 2013 and would go on to cement his place in the underground throughout the 2010s. Albums such as Ethereal Lover (2015), Data_Our Program Is Forever (2015), and Context 2 (2016) would become defining projects for Yuni Wa, with all projects being streamed over 1 million times around the world.
In 2021, Yuni was asked to perform for Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Live series while also making him the cover of the playlist on Amazon’s streaming service. In 2022, Yuni Wa would play Electronicon 3 in New York, where he would share the stage with artists such as Washed Out, Neon Indian, George Clanton, and Skylar Spence fka Saint Pepsi. In 2023, Yuni was enlisted to perform in Bentonville, Arkansas, for that year’s Format Fest that would include acts such as LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, Jamie XX, and Sudan Archives. In Oct 2024, Yuni would play alongside Hotel Pools and Vaperror for a Live Nation-produced show at the Thundercat Lounge in Phoenix, Arizona.
