GULVØSS (Sven Wittmiß) has released his new video for the track titled ‘Running With The Light’ from his latest album ‘The Perfect Symphony’. Cinematic vibe mixed with rock and European decadence, ‘Running With The Light’ is as fit on a bloodied dancefloor as it is in a sweat filled stadium. Retrotastic feeling combined with that certain feeling of darkness and deviance, GULVØSS adds his signature to sin by captivating the listener with an original sound.

About GULVØSS

It’s been almost 3 years since the introverted full-blooded artist, perfectionist and hopeless romantic Sven Wittmiß alias GULVØSS caused quite a stir and gave us goosebumps with his debut album “Sinners vs. Saints”.

Since then, he has been tirelessly on the road with his GULVØSS band as support act for ForcedToMode, Blind Passenger, Melotron and Covenant as well as at various scene festivals such as NCN and Dark East, building up a loyal fan base. But of course GULVØSS has also been working tirelessly on new songs during this time, on the presumably never-ending search for the perfect song.

As a wanderer between two worlds: the Nordic loneliness and the pulsating metropolis of Berlin, GULVØSS once again pours his soul life into melancholy hymns that only reveal their full depth and beauty bit by bit.

Slightly more danceable, organically matured and rockier than the debut album, “The Perfect Symphony” never loses its electronic roots and reflects the two hearts that constantly lie dormant in the artist.

The gifted singer and multi-instrumentalist once again produced and arranged all the songs on “The Perfect Symphony” himself. He was assisted in mixing and mastering by Mario Niemann (Blind Passenger, Psyche, 80’s Express) and top producer Thommy Hein, who has also worked for acts such as Zeraphine, Peter Heppner, Corvus Corax, Tanzwut, Nina Hagen, Blind Passengers, Dreadful Shadows, Die Ärzte, Nick Cave, Fat Gadget, Extrabreit and many more.

Musically, GULVØSS is difficult to pigeonhole into one of the typical genre categories. Editors fans will perhaps appreciate the melancholy warmth of his works, Depeche Mode fans the vastness and tragedy of his sound constructions and lovers of insider favorite VAST may discover parallels to their dark and yet always hopeful atmospheric soundscapes, always true to the motto: “Black Is Beautiful”.
