Austin Coven has today released his new single titled ‘Cherry Bomb Explosives’ from his upcoming album ‘The Hummingbird Cabin’ dropping in February.
Music for the house, as in house music, meant for the mind and the heart filtered through the soul with a repetitive beat only letting up for air in the pre-chorus, there is a solid hook and rhythm felt with the thump and grind when heard through the right speakers. Not meant for earbuds, because it’s an anthem. The type of track you regress to your younger self too. A message for that part of your soul that needs to let go and be set free once in a while.
About Austin Coven
Embedded in the revolutionary spirit of house music birthed by LGBTQ+ DJ’s as a means of demonstrating freedom and equality, Austin Coven aims to channel this same raw energy laid out by his predecessors. An authentic fusion of house, pop, grunge, and indie sleaze, Coven’s music offers an immersive world where poetic lyricism intertwines with relentless innovation.
By embracing the genre’s origins and aiming to shatter their limitations, the Long Island-based musician crafts sonic landscapes that are equal parts unpredictable as they are unforgettable. “Cherry Bomb Explosives” is the second offering from the utopian soundscape The Hummingbird Cabin (coming February 2025).
