Lunchmeat is a grungy Punk band of middle-aged working stiffs, recommended for fans of Nirvana, Devo, IDLES and Pup.The band has shared the stage with LostSounds, Jay Reat*rd, Zoobombs and performed at Pop Montreal and NXNE. After a decade-long hiatus ,Lunchmeat is back to caterwaul about middle age and global catastrophe.

Lunchmeat will be releasing their first album in 17 years, End of Man, in early 2025, their first since Animal Sense (2008), whose song “NNY” was recently featured in the Rhys Darby starring film, Relax, I’m From The Future. Vocalist Samuel Allemang writes about things like the ghosts of Toronto’s Don River, surreal visions of sobriety, labor organizing at Amazon, the slow death of suburban life, and the brutalization of Palestine – oh yeah, it’s a fun one alright.
