Beauty In Chaos have today released their new album titled ‘Dancing With Angels’ via 33.3 Music Collective. Beauty In Chaos is an organic thing at this point, and not just merely ‘a collective’. From ‘Finding Beauty in Chaos‘ to now, this moment, there is a natural, yet unpredictable progression of what that music is, what it is now, and what it will become, and become again.
‘Dancing With Angels’ is a concept, from conception. Interweaving each song with a unique set of soundscapes and sonic visions that connect like chapters. The concept, however, is left to total interpretation. As with most good music, we take what we want and we keep what we need and that music becomes a personal part of us.
That first thing I got from that first listen is a feeling of immersion. And, this is what I meant earlier by saying this is a concept. Concepts, for the most part, are a complete idea expressed in a creative way. The main strongpoint I get from ‘Dancing With Angels’ is that there is a continuous substance with the album. BIC has always been known for their good songwriting, but, this album has an overall feeling that permeates throughout, and not just on an individual song level. But, the best part, is that this feeling is up to you. Almost as an exploration of the self. There is just enough ambiguity within the tracks, interwoven by the halos, to give credence and credibility to who you are and what you love. This is a love letter, not just for fans of BIC, but for lovers of music.

About ‘Dancing With Angels’
‘Dancing With Angels’ features BIC alumni Ashton Nyte, Holy Wars’ Kat Leon, and of course Wayne and Cinthya Hussey. “The title was inspired by a painting from a talented German artist, Maren Platzhoff which also became the album’s cover. As Michael Rozon and I began writing the music for this release, I knew I wanted to blend artists from our first two releases with some amazing new members to our BIC Family”. Ciravolo adds “I love bringing in ‘less famous’ but certainly no less talented artists to the fold, and I think this album does just that”. Leo Luganskiy, Julian Shah-Tayler, former Silence In The Snow front woman Cynthia Isabella, The Bellweather Syndicate’s William and Sarah Faith, and Patrik Mata, main-man of the seminal darkwave band Kommunity FK bring immense and diverse talents to “Dancing With Angels”.
Ciravolo has described this album as sort of a ‘sonic regression and a sonic progression’. When pressed to explain he adds “I meant this as a positive thing, taking some of the post-rock elements of our debut album, the stark dark bits that run through ‘The Storm Before The Calm”, and the gothy dreamy-gaze of ‘Behind The Veil’. It was definitely going a bit backwards to take a few steps forward!” Speaking of going forward, this album in its CD format includes something that the BIC curator has long wanted to do… joining the songs together with musical interludes, that Ciravolo dubbed ‘Halos’. “These are unique soundscape interludes that sonically tie each song together, along with the album’s coda. I do have this… probably unrealistic romantic idea that the listener will give this album at least one top-to-bottom uninterrupted listen” he added.
Ciravolo, along with his BIC cohort/producer Michael Rozon, and 33.3 Music Collective’s Tim Perry are staunch advocates for CDs and especially vinyl… and ‘Dancing With Angels’ will be available in a Limited Edition multi-color vinyl, with the first 100 copies including two signed posters by the artists.
