Canadian pop sensation Nic Neufeld will join the Allstar Nation Tour 2015 line-up performing at about 14 schools in 10 Texas cities starting January 12 at Fort Settlement Middle School in Sugarland.
The Allstar Nation Tour is a anti-bullying music tour featuring fast-rising, nationally known recording artists from around the country who perform cover and original music over a highly engaging 90-minute assembly at middle and high schools. Between performances, the artists speak out against bullying, share personal experiences, prevention tips and methods. There is no charge to schools for the assenbly performance.
Neufeld, 13, is a self-taught piano player, dancer, and songwriter from Dodsland, a small village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. He has written and recorded several original songs since his first single and music video – “More Than A Crush“ – debuted in summer 2013. Manny Street, Radio Personality on the Ryan Seacrest Radio Show referred to Neufeld as“one of the hardest working up and coming recording artists I’ve seen in a long time.”
Neufeld’s portfolio is diverse having performed internationally at more than 200 shows throughout Canada and the United States. He has shared the stage with nationally recognized artists opening for triple platinum recording artist Aaron Carter and hip hop group Travis Porter, to name a few.
His latest single, “Nobody Better Than You”, features Disney Channel star actor and rap/pop artist Adam Hicks. Neufeld is currently training with renowned vocal coach Gary Catona, who has worked with such stars as Whitney Houston, Usher, Katy Perry, Lorde and other nationally recognized musicians and singers.
An advocate against bullying, Neufeld has performed on several anti-bullying music tours entertaining and speaking to thousands of students across the country over the last few years.
