Cosmicity is the project name for synth-pop artist Mark Nicholas. Mark has been writing, recording, and performing as Cosmicity since the late 90’s.

Musical Fusion: In every song you’ll hear a combination of New-Wave-influenced pulsing electronics, evocative yet catchy vocal melodies, and personal singer songwriter style lyrics.

A Little History: There have been over a dozen full-length Cosmicity albums, but the last one – the heartbreaking “Twice Daily”, which captures the experiences of a man whose marriage is on the verge of collapse – was released way back in 2018.

2024: Overblown 2024 brings Cosmicity’s first new original music in nearly 6 years, kicking off on July 30th with a single called “Overblown”. A new full-length album called “Fade Resistant” is expected at the end of the year. These new songs were written during various emotional stages following a divorce, though you’d probably only know it from the lyrics themselves. For example, the relentlessly upbeat and optimistic music in “Overblown” stands in complete contrast to the utterly despondent lyrics.

Money-Back Guarantee? Rumor has it that if you don’t have this song stuck in your head all day after just one listen, Cosmicity will actually give you a refund.

Bonus Remixes The “Overblown” single will also feature two remixes by Pete “Mixmaster” Hammond, the famed PWL Records Chief Engineer who helped craft the original sound of artists such as Kylie Minogue and Dead or Alive.
