The Heart’s Desire EP features guest appearances from label mate and 2016 Unsigned Music Awards nominee AKS (‘Still Waters Run Deep’), Orph Gang’s YJ (‘Hands Up’), and emerging British singer-songwriter Julie Iwheta (‘Side By Side’), and also boasts production from Telemachus (Klashnekoff, Roc Marciano, Verb T), Mindstate, and DemDrums, who has previously worked withPartyNextDoor, EA Games, and Giggs collaborator Joe Grind,
Speaking about the inspiration behind his Heart’s Desire EP, J The Exodus says, “This project represents an insight into some of my thoughts. Touching on my perspective from a socio-political standpoint, my musical frustrations, and my passions, while still having some fun and showing my rap skills on a couple of verses. All in all, the overarching message behind the project is about following one’s passion whatever that may be”.
