King Ropes is a Montana based Psychedelic Americana band, sort of. Or Indie Desert Rock? Maybe ramshackle psychedelic Americana noise pop. Like Montana, this music is full of contradictions, open spaces and jagged edges, breathtaking beauty tempered by a harsh underbelly. Imagine Pavement, Pixies, Wilco, Built to Spill, and Queens of the Stoneage, hanging with Willie Nelson.

The brilliant new single ‘Radio Jane’ sounds like a lost Velvet Underground song and is taken from their upcoming fifth album ‘Idaho’.

“We first booked King Ropes solely on positive word-of-mouth, not knowing what to expect. After hearing them play multiple shows, we still don’t know what to expect; and when it comes to music, there is nothing better than discovering something new.

Their live shows are unexpected, magical, funny, and entirely weird. A blend of classic songwriting that is folded into balloon animal shapes, threaded together by Dave Hollier’s breezy baritone vocals, every time they play our brewery, they pack the house, command the audience, start dance parties, and leave with new fans.”
