Kū x His Hallucinations are an alternative, all-sibling band based out of Los Angeles, California. The band, formerly known as, ‘Kūkahi and the Love Machine’ have been entertaining crowds on stage together since 2017. The group has been invited to play at shows in Tokyo Japan, Canadian Music Week in Toronto, Canada, and in venues in Hawai’i, including for the Aloha Puna Benefit Concert in 2018.
Originally from Hawai’i, these young, Native Hawaiian musicians have been featured on television and in newspaper and magazine articles. The group’s leader, multi-instrumentalist artist Kūkahi (Coo-kah-hee) won a Nā Hōkū Hanohano award (Hawai’i’s equivalent of a Grammy Award) at the age of 17. His band includes his bassist/20-year-old sister Monica, keyboardist/19-year-old brother Keli’i (keh-lee-ee), drummer/16-year-old sister Alana, and 15-year-old guitarist sister Mālie (maaah-lee-yeh). All are self-taught multi-instrumentalists and professionally trained vocalists who are excited to share their original music with you.
