Oh The Humanity! has today released their new video for the track titled ‘Upper Riffspiratory Infection’ from their upcoming album dropping in January, 2025 via Sell the Heart (U.S.), Thousand Islands Records (Canada), and Engineer Records (UK).
While having that ‘shot on a phone for tiktok’ look and feel, you still can’t deny the magnum opus feel and party gras look embedded within a fast paced adrenaline fueled fuck you to the norm and tug on the balls of the past not realizing the d*ck is pointing to the future.
“Upper Riffspiratory Infection is a song about wanting to be present but being stuck in the past. Dwelling on things long since forgotten by most but not you, and those old demons haunting your present. This song is a straight up punk rock ripper. Shreddy guitars, fast driving drums, vocals that pack a punch, and a massive bridge that pays off in spades.”

About Oh The Humanity!
Since 2012, Oh The Humanity! has been combining shreddy metal riffs with singalong punk choruses and the energy of DIY basement hardcore shows. The Massachusetts-based band’s latest record Ground to Dust (out early next year) showcases their diverse influences with 10 tracks of fast technical melodic punk capped off with emotionally resonant lyrics. Recorded by Trevor Reilly (A Wilhem Scream) at Anchor End Studio in New Bedford, MA, Ground to Dust is the band’s third studio album and is slated to release in January 2025 on Sell the Heart (U.S.), Thousand Islands Records (Canada), and Engineer Records (UK).
The OTH! crew is all about the bond formed at live shows and have been honored to perform at venerable punk festivals like The Fest, Camp Punksylvania, and Pouzza Fest. They’ve sweat their brains out on stages, in backyards, and in DIY halls across the US, Canada, and the UK, and will be heading back out on the road in 2025 in support of their new record.
Oh The Humanity! is Kevin Athas, Jimmy Silvio, Kyle Paradis, Chris Dileso, and Chris Santoro. They are pretty cheerful dudes. Some of them like LEGO a lot. Some of them have really, really strong opinions about why “Africa” is only the third best TOTO song. All of them would love nothing more in this life than to come rock and party with you, wherever you may be.
