Remy Reilly has today released her new single titled ‘Dirty Work’. An introspective song for the introverted heart, ‘Dirty Work’ quietly takes the high road leading to that light at the end of the tunnel with bravado and class all within a song that all the wounds left from life’s harsh lessons.

Musically, the track is a quietly dominating rock-pop song with a subtle hook and a slow sonic climb that feels as much a journey as it goes a song. A confessional set to a soundtrack. Big in it’s smallness and loud in it’s subtlety.

About ‘Dirty Work’

Inspired by her own experiences, Remy Reilly reflects on past relationships and explores the challenges of moving beyond them to embrace self-love. “‘Dirty Work’ is like my own personal diary entry,” Reilly shares. “It’s a song about the fear of intimacy, the fear of not being enough, and the comparison of others.” Following a betrayal, Reilly found herself struggling with self-doubt and insecurity, ruminating on a situation in which she compared herself to another woman. “I wrote this song when I was in a dark place on my self-love journey, and I hope it comforts others who share the same struggles and helps them realize we all are worthy of love.”

Recorded at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas with producer and mixer John Pedigo (Old 97s, Joshua Ray Walker,) “Dirty Work” was written by Remy Reilly and mastered by Todd Pipes of Deep Blue Something. Remy Reilly’s signature pop-rock style and stirring rasp powerfully convey the voyage of reclaiming self-worth after heartbreak, creating an anthem for anyone seeking to overcome past pain. “Dirty Work” will be followed by a music video directed by Travis Beverly on Thursday, December 5.
