Sally Green has released her new video for the single titled ‘Go Anywhere’ featuring West coast rapper Kurupt. That old school funktastical feeling of fantastic fury and retro rhapsody fight the artist for center stage with a heavy hit to the feels. The first thing that grabs me is that hook and beat reaching back to the late 70s/early 80s while the vocals guide you to that magical place you’ve been trying to get to on your mind.
This is the type of song that makes you groove in the car even after you see the person in the next car pointing at you at the light. But you don’t care. Your freak flag is already risen on the pole. Now salute it.

Oakland based vocalist, Sally Green has become an established driving force and presence in the modern Funk & G-Funk genres.
Alongside being a singer, Sally is a multi instrumentalist, and grew up in a diversely musical household. She was blessed with consistent musical influences right through her childhood, and has therefore gracefully carved out her own lane.
Sally has uniquely crafted her genre and sound, expanded her vision by collaborating with a plethora of producers internationally, and gained recognition for her feel good, in-the-pocket delivery.

The lyrics ‘We Can Freak It’ were inspired from the 1998 release by Kurupt produced by Battlecat, so this overall collaboration made perfect sense, and the rest as they say is history!
