The Goodstock Project has today released their new single titled ‘Just Don’t Stop’. Clearly British rock with the added stomp factor, the melody and mayhem are pure and golden with a solid combination of melodic and gritty guitar rock cascade together to form an original composition as signature as it is immersive.
While the guitars and beautifully soulful and weathered vocals shine throughout the song, the bass and beat add their own stamp with a classic driving feeling that outlives any era.
About ‘Just Don’t Stop’
The inspiration behind “Just Don’t Stop”, by South Manchester 4 piece, The Goodstock Project, couldn’t be more quintessentially British!
One evening, as Goodstock Project lead singer, June, sat watching Celebrity Gogglebox with a cup of tea, she saw Bez from Happy Mondays wearing sunglasses indoors, watching TV with Shaun Ryder.
When Shaun asked, “Did you get any sleep at Glasto? You’re a sixty-year-old bloke who’s been to Glastonbury.” Bez shared the secret to his youthful energy: “Just don’t stop”.
He explained that people his age tend to slow down and grow old, so the trick is to keep going!
That mantra, the idea that energy and youth are sustained by simply refusing to slow down, became the heartbeat of this song. “Just Don’t Stop” is all about defying the usual aging process and embracing the idea that you’re only as young as you feel. This track is a high-energy anthem for anyone who refuses to let age dictate their spirit.

The Goodstock Project are an indie rock band, comprising 4 songwriters from South Manchester. “Just Don’t Stop” is their third release of 2024, hot on the heels of “Royal Pontoon” and “Demands of Reality”. It follows an amazing 2023 for the band which saw the release of 3 tunes from their debut EP, “Remote”, as well as an epic, luxurious single called “Everything I Need To Know” and a cover version of “Bring It On Home To Me” by Sam Cooke, the video for which was licensed by the great man’s record label.
