St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club has released their second album titled ‘Into Your Heartbeat’ via Beluga Records (Vinyl) Brickland Records (Digital). Sounds of early rock and Mersey Sound, St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club take a slice of the Union Jack and spread it through the world with and upbeated updated sound merging past heroes with future classics.
There is enough variety to find something personal while listening straight through before you realize you’re listening to an album straight through. That good.

The long-awaited album that the band has been working on for over three years takes us on a journey where we get to accompany a feather, or if it is possibly a thought that floats out over the sea. Little fates from life’s backyards, departed friends who return in dreams, greed, love and hope for relief. As usual, the stories are told in a way that invites equal doses of thoughtful calm and sing-along.
St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club from Stockholm is often compared to British bands such as The Jam, The Clash and Oasis, but also American The National and Swedish The Soundtrack of Our Lives. The band is run by Jimi Sebastian who grew up in Sweden, but with an English father which is reflected in both text and music where the social realist narrative often plays a prominent role.
Jimi has appeared in podcasts and TV where he talked about the band’s music, lyrics and the connection to football culture. The band is growing steadily and has long been praised in underground circles where they have a very good live reputation, which among other things, has been shown in sold-out venues both in Sweden and London. They have previously released a full-length album and three EPs.
