Blanko is an Amsterdam based artist, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who writes, records, produces and mixes his own tracks and albums. Following the release of his debut album ‘music by Blanko’ in 2022, he captured attention with songs that present an original vision of pop/rock and indie/alternative music.
His second album ‘More music by Blanko’ takes Blanko’s artistic skills to new heights, showcasing his growth as an artist and his dedication to pushing his own boundaries. ‘MORE music by Blanko’ features a collection of songs that resonate with raw emotion and catchy melodies. ‘MORE music by Blanko’ not only meets but exceeds the high expectations set by his debut album.
The singles from this album did not go unnoticed on Dutch national radio either. During performances on shows like NPO Radio 2 (the morning show) and NPO Muziekcafe, Blanko demonstrated that he can compete live with the best of them.
During his own club tour promoting this album, Blanko played at venues such as ‘De Melkweg’ (sold out), Tivoli, Patronaat, and other locations in his home country in The Netherlands to an ecstatic audience. The amazing live energy of this tour was captured in a live album called ‘Live music by Blanko’.
‘Get Up’ is his second single for his third album that will be released in January 2025. A feel-good, high-energy song that could get crowds singing all over Europe. Also his first headliner concert at the famous Amsterdam venue Paradiso will take place on January 30th 2025, and will also be the release party of this third album.
