Charleston, SC trip-hop artist Jon Oh! releases new single Dance Party ’99! Produced by The Beat Arkitekz’ Rick Flare, the Prince inspired track is sure to make everyone Party like its ‘99! The original Dance Party (done over Big Gigantic’s Light of Day), got a great response in the underground scene, but sample clearance issues prevented the song from reaching full potential.
“There was no need in stressing over it, so I gut it, rebuilt it, now it’s not only better, but way more profitable!”
Jon Oh! came on the scene with a “No Condom” campaign back in 2012 that expressed his free will and “raw” style of rapping. Since then he’s been up and down the east coast and even as far as Texas (for SXSW) performing, and promoting. With “Dance Party ‘99”, geared and ready to hit the road, Jon Oh! plans on igniting a fire that’ll burn across the globe!
“Nice track. It is original from start to finish and the lyrics are top notch as well, so credit given where credit due.”*
