Glitter Etiquette has today premiered their new video for the track titled ‘Silicone Bodies’ from their album of the same name releasing today.
Visually cinematic with a stylistic flair, ‘Silicone Bodies’ takes what the song is conveying and adds lush imaging and a visualist style that shows that this is a band that was meant to be.
The music is a wall of sound that mixes shoegaze and post-punk with a unique attitude and feeling paying homage to their mentors while adding enough for the one who will be mentored by them.
About Glitter Etiquette
Immersed in dissent yet thoroughly engaged, Glitter Etiquette hopes to penetrate the New York indie scene. Their sound reflects the great ancestors of post-punk, grunge, and shoegaze (Smashing Pumpkins, New Order, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Suede), but thoroughly infuses a modern sound and attitude joining the likes of contemporaries (Ringo Deathstarr, Blood Red Shoes, Dum Dum Girls, A Place to Bury Strangers, etc.).
Two singles are currently released and five more have entered the studio with plans for an album shortly after.
