She has written several songs for films including a Tom Greene comedy, Interviewing Monsters, a satirical comedy about the hunt for Bigfoot. Rebellious Girls is her latest single dropped Nov 4th on all streaming platforms.
Refusing to be designated stylistically, Street decries herself an artist that won’t be bound by genre as she is beholden to what the song wants to be and what her budget allows which is sometimes at cross purposes. Wildly influenced by bands like Fleetwood Mac to newer acts such as The XX or Rhye. Khruangbin is currently her favorite go to group she listens to. Her latest releases beyond Rebellious Girls include a heartfelt 70’s style pop song – Let ‘em Talk, an electronic lo-fi croon tune -Panorama, and an edgy torch song – Wild at Heart.
