Last week DJ Muggs announced he has joined forces with DOOM for a special project and released a new single called “Deathwish” feat. Freddie Gibbs from their collab effort as part of the first ‘chapter’ to Muggs’ forthcoming album Assassination Day slated to arrive August 3rd on Soul Assassins Records. Today Muggs x DOOM share a thrilling animated visual for “Deathwish” depicting the vigilante narrative from album. The special Muggs x DOOM project will be available this coming Friday, June 29th which also includes a new song with Kool G Rap.
This coming Saturday, June 30th Muggs will also host a pop-up event at the Madlib’s ‘Rappcats’ storefront in Los Angeles on with Hit and Run screen printing the last 100 records and unique merchandise created for the event.
