After the successes achieved with recent releases with Peak Hour Music, Digital Empire and of course his classic ‘Vamos De Rumba’, which included remixes by the likes of Blasterjaxx and Chuckie, Junior Rodgers is back to form this month with his new release ‘The Omen’. The single is currently available exclusively on Beatport and will be released on 1st of December, 2014 in all stores courtesy of one of the most exciting labels in the game right now – Bonerizing Records.
‘The Omen’ is a total display of the numerous musical faces Junior Rodgers is able to offer. The track is a hard-edged Big Room production that’s got all the assets to be a potential chart-topper and super-festival favourite. Apart from being a devastating dance-floor filler, ‘The Omen’ introduces a darker, ambient side which makes the production intense and unsettling in the breaks. The colossal vocal choruses added to the forceful string-synth arrangement make this track a blockbuster affair. Taking a no holes barred turn into the realms of harder styles of dance music – the gigantic kick is introduced to blast the way for the seismic lead synth melody and drive energy levels to the roof. Junior Rodgers makes use of a stack of adrenaline-charged lead synth sounds which ensure ‘The Omen’ will be a high-reaction selection on the dance floor. The darker tones in the production aid in creating a truly unique mood and add spice to the many expressive facets of the production. The high-energy and intensity of his work is second to none. Junior Rodgers’ selection of sounds show his technical understanding and a love for experimentation of genres, utilising a repertoire of inspirations ranging from orchestral right through to EDM and harder styles, creating an outstanding production that will burst through club speakers like a juggernaut.
Talented DJ and producer Junior Rodgers is no new name to the electronic music scene. His major hit, ‘Vamos De Rumba’ was played and held in high regard by numerous top DJs around the world. Moreover, his music made its way into Dutch national charts, giving him the international recognition he deserved for his stellar efforts. Junior Rodgers counts on the vast influences he collected at a young age, and introduces tastes of Caribbean music, R&B, and conventional EDM into his music, making it instantly unique and recognisable in a crowd. His music is dubbed to be funky, energetic and soulful, diverse and seriously high in production quality; all elements that he put into his much-anticipated release of ‘The Omen’.
This project is being released by Swedish label Bonerizing Records. The brainchild of Serkan Denizer and production duo Live Express, Bonerizing Records are famed for representing only the finest quality tracks and support both upcoming and well established artists alike – a sign of a label worth knowing about. The label boasts support from the likes of: Knife Party, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Benny Benassi, Fedde Le Grand, Afrojack, Alesso, and Danny Avila amongst other leading lights and with a busy schedule ahead – we expect to see the continuation of their rise to the top of the food chain. ‘The Omen’ is another outstanding addition to their already rich catalogue.
