ShareTweet Collective Soul came out of Georgia in 1993. Shortly after forming the band was signed to Atlantic Records and turned out their first studio album Hits Allegations and Things Left Unsaid. “Shine” was the debut single from the record and it propelled Collective Soul to, what is going on three decades of, success. The band’s second album was self-titled and became the most successful album the group produced to date. Debuting in 1995, Collective Soul featured hits “December,” “Where the River Flows,” and “The World I Know.” The album itself remained on the Billboard 200 for seventy-six consecutive weeks. Collective Soul is currently working on their sixth studio album See What You Started by Continuing, which will be released sometime this year. SOURCE: Official Bio PHOTOS BY: Scott Brown Comments
