Paul “ProFound” Adams is a rapper and producer born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. As a child, the first album he ever purchased was “The Score” by the Fugees. From there, his love of Hip-Hop began and continued to grow. From A Tribe Called Quest, to Nas, to Outkast, music made it’s way into his very essence. The son of a Jazz pianist, it only made sense for him to pursue music himself.
At the age of 17, ProFound wrote his first song, entitled “A Day In the Life” to the Hi-Tek produced, “The Blast” by Talib Kweli. It was the beginning of over a decade of beats and rhymes that have led to this moment in time.
His latest project, entitled the “Adrian Pierce Experience”, is the culmination of all of that hard work. Completely self produced from beginning to end, it is a deeply intimate project with the highs and lows of the daily life. It is a relatable and honest project that finds the rapper peeling back the many layers of existence.
As an artist on the rise both locally and regionally, ProFound is looking for that next push to take him to the next level. As 1/4th of Khimera Records, their brand is poised to enter the stratosphere. Dream Impossible.
