ShareTweet After releasing their critically acclaimed debut LP in native Italy, Late Guest at the Party moved to NYC in 2013 to work with producer Caleb Shreve (Phantogram, Tegan & Sara). In 2014 they released their sophomore LP Repeater with Shreve on vocals, as well as a series of remixes for artists such as Phantogram, Wakey!Wakey!, K.Flay and more. A long, two and a half year journey has brought LGATP to this point. Left without a vocalist, they had to restart from scratch. This was also a big opportunity; a way to explore new territories in music and composition. “Give You a Life” is the result of a new sound and musical direction, and the first of many singles set to be released in the coming months. “Give You a Life” features vocals and lyrics by Beth Hansen of C’Mere. To her, the song is about the best intention you could have. You meet someone and express your freedom and enjoyment and want to share it with them; you want to give them a piece of your life. Sometimes this doesn’t work out. You enjoy the person, but that part of your life isn’t what they need.
