Jacob Giaimo has today premiered his new album titled ‘Arts Direct’. A varied set of stories set to music in the form of genre bending (overused term, I know) which, I would consider, a solid showcase of Jacob’s songwriting and recording talents. As I remember from our interview last year, Jacob is an artist in tune with his musical senses and the world around him. Writing for the song and including the lyrics in those thoughts when it comes to presentation versus lyrical meaning, there is a symbiosis involved that simply makes it all fit.
A clear evolution in the next career step of a true artist with staying power, Jacob Giaimo takes those constant lessons learned and makes them into soundtracks for your life.

About Jacob Giaimo
Jacob Giaimo has been hard at work writing and recording his new, emotion-evoking album dropping November 15, 2024, Arts District, named after a neighborhood in Los Angeles, where the songs were conceptualized. With the new album, the singer-songwriter touches upon love, loss, strength and everything that encompasses a deep-felt relationship.
Jacob says, “Arts District, was born out of needing something to focus and work on while dealing with a breakup. The goal was to create an album that highlighted overarching themes of a relationship from start to end. In addition, the theme of the album, while often thought of as cliché, is simply love. Jacob believes, “We’re stronger together than when we’re alone and leaning on loved ones when things are hard.”
The collection of songs on Jacob’s new album expresses where he currently is in his musical journey, displaying that it’s not so much that they are different from his previous songs, but simply better. Jacob says, “I’ve become a better songwriter, musician, and singer so the work reflects that growth.”
Jacob has a very deliberate message with the songs on, Arts District, where he wants listeners to not feel alone if they are dealing with any type of loss or sadness in their lives. “Losing someone or something and feeling hurt from that is a human emotion,” he continues, “We all should feel lucky to have because it means we were able to care about something deeply.”
Jacob is continuing to write new songs succeeding, Arts District, and gaining new inspirations that he hopes help take him out of his comfort zone.
