Kojo himself was not interested in releasing Loved Up or any new music until SynLingerie entrepreneur Tony Ram stumbled upon the song and begged Kojo to release it. Kojo was born in Trinidad and started his singing career as a child in his hometown St. Anns. Together with his friends, they formed a boy band called New Creation and became an overnight sensation. After moving to London, Kojo worked as A&R scout for Craig David’s producer Mark Hill at his Stoosh Records imprint.
The remix of the song is a collaboration between Kojo and Dot Inc who are not like their production peers. Their approach is slightly different by bringing different genre’s as Caribbean Dancehall, electronic music and old “skool” Garage together. They already remixed names like Shakira, Sean Paul and David Guetta.
Kojo secured a label deal with Spin Up so make sure to follow him on all his social media as the future will be Reggae.
