1. Better Off Alone Raze 3:53

UK alt-metallers Raze blaze a trail with their fiery new single ‘Better Off Alone’, marking their first release in five years.

Through the track’s 4-minute runtime the band channel their groove metal influences to the fullest.

“We wrote Better Off Alone within the first few weeks of [my] joining Raze” recounts guitarist Dan Eveleigh. “We were having a jam and I started playing the main riff [to the song] – instantly it clicked and we got to work shaping it into the first song written for the album.”

“We started playing together and it just worked, it just grooved, ” adds drummer Ethan Morter. “By the end of the session the song was pretty much written.”

‘Better Off Alone’ is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album ‘Pyrography’; recorded across a two year period by the band’s vocalist Louis Dunham at his own Black Seraph Studios – with painstaking care taken over every aspect of the production, the band believe this to be their best recording to date.
