UK singer-songwriter Rojor has returned with the release of his brand new single ‘Only Luv Can Hurt’. The melancholy electro-pop track showcases his knack for universal and emotive songwriting and radio-friendly pop hooks.

Only Luv Can Hurt follows up Rojor’s (pronounced ‘ro-jaw’) critically acclaimed 2016 album Fatally Beautiful which featured the lead singles ‘Everytime I See Her’ and ‘Planet Ride’. These examples of Rojor’s classic pop craftsmanship picked up national airplay on the UK’s biggest radio station BBC Radio 2 as well as BBC Radio Scotland and countless local stations.

“I guess it’s a bitter sweet love song,” says Rojor of the new single. “I love you and you love me can be pretty ordinary, but I love you and you love someone else? That’s interesting subject matter for any writer. Something so sweet can taste so bitter. What hurts the most – the love or the loss?”

As well as his support at national radio, Rojor has played live with The Magic Numbers, Primal Scream, Ren Harvieu, Wet Wet Wet’s Graeme Clarke and Martin Stephenson, as well as headlining the ‘FTWL Stage’ at BBC Music Live.
