R&B Singer/Songwriter Rome Alexander is excited to announce the release of the Official Video for his new single “A Song For Mama.” This re-make of the Boyz II Men classic was released worldwide on November 25, 2015 and reached No. 4 on the iTunes Top 100 chart for new R&B/Soul Releases.

The video features an extended version of the song that had not been previously released. This version includes the piano introduction that was part of the original track Rome composed as a Mother’s Day gift to his mother. “I am incredibly pleased and humbled by the positive reaction my rendition of this song has received and wanted to share this version so my fans could see this part of my artistic vision for the song,” stated Rome.

As previously announced, Rome is partnering with Safe Mothers, Safe Babies (“SAFE”) and will donate one-half of the proceeds from “A Song For Mama” to SAFE. SAFE is a non-profit organization that partners with rural communities in Uganda to improve maternal and child health and survival in the first 1,000 days of life. Since its founding in 2009, SAFE has assisted more than 30,000 women and children per year.
