Minneapolis based international recording artist, songwriter, playwright and actress Timotha Lanae follows up her successful So Soulful 2015 release ‘8 Days Til Spring’ by teaming up with fellow Minneapolitan, multi instrumentalist singer / songwriter Ryan Liestman (Jonas Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Miley Cyrus), to release the new soul and reggae inspired single ‘Open Road’ written by Timotha Lanae, Ryan Liestman & Michael Bland (Prince’s New Power Generation, Soul Asylum), scheduled for release January 2016 through T’La Entertainment, LLC.
Produced by Ryan Liestman & Michael Bland (Sonic Matrimony) and mixed by Paul David Hager (Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Guns & Roses), ‘Open Road’ is a catchy track with melodic harmonies all about letting go and moving forward. Inspired by a broken relationship that needed mending, ‘Open Road’ symbolizes a bright future with infinite possibilities.
‘Open Road’ is available from digital outlets later this month.
“There’s so much division and turmoil going on in the world and sometimes it seems like we’re limited in what we can do. The Open Road Challenge is something that starts with us.” Timotha Lanae.
Get involved with the #OpenRoadChallenge by deciding to let go of past hurts, guilt, shame, or self-image hang ups. Take the first step in mending relationships by saying, “I’m sorry”, or extending forgiveness. Then share the challenges you have overcome or relationships you have mended as a result of joining this social media initiative. Document your success online using the #OpenRoadChallenge hashtag, or simply say I took the #OpenRoadChallenge and challenge others to do the same.
“We’re challenging our social media circle to better themselves in their relationships, career, and spiritual life.” Ryan Liestman.
The #OpenRoadChallenge is a chance for everyone to be involved while making a difference, starting one person to another. “This challenge is for us to get a little closer to our purpose in life by letting go of the past and taking on the Open Road” Timotha Lanae.
