After the success of his ‘Waynes World 2’ mixtape last year, Tion Wayne is kicking down the door to 2017 with the release of his brand new single ‘Minor’.

Courtesy of one of the hottest production teams in the UK right now, Team Salut mix up the flavours with a soulful instrumental that lends on twists of Caribbean and African influence. The drum pattern brings in a quintessential UK vibe, which is captured and highlighted perfectly by Tion’s flow to make this a sing-a-long party anthem.

The emerging emcee has already gained popularity via his YouTube videos ‘Can’t Go Broke’, ‘Bae’ and ‘Me Or The Lifestyle’, collectively receiving over 5 million views. The latter being the lead single from 2016 mixtape, ‘Wayne’s World 2’ which reached number #3 in the Worldwide iTunes Hip Hop chart and peaked at #13 in the overall chart. Having built some strong foundations he went on to perform a sell-out headline show at Dingwalls in Camden featuring the cream of the UK’s biggest and rising stars including Scorcher, Geko, Dave and AJ Tracey. His presence on the stage has also seen him grace Birmingham’s O2 Academy, SSE Wembley Arena, and support artists such as Dej Loaf, Rick Ross and Sarkodie.

Racking up quarter of a million views in the week since its release via Link Up TV, the video for ‘Minor’ is already proving to be a major step in the right direction for the career of Tion Wayne.
