Ferocious Dog’s new single “Slow Motion Suicide” is truly an anthem for the 99% done in a way only someone who understands the current situation in society and economics can really execute. This song is ferocious in every way and I would honestly say that even if the word was not in the band’s name.
“Slow Motion Suicide”, musically, is a perfect mix of dirt and strings à la Bob Mould recorded to near sonic perfection with lyrics that ponder reflection as to the state of affairs that the global economy has put each of us in on a personal level and wonder if there really is a better way of life for us all if we put in more of an effort instead of living in compliant acceptance. That alone makes this song a much deeper message to the masses than your average “socially aware” musical journey with it’s blunt yet poetic lyrics. A perfect mixture of protest and poetry is I ever heard one.

Creating their own take on Traditional Celtic folk, Ferocious Dog takes the traditional instruments; fiddles, whistles, mandolins and mixes them up with a bit of, raw, buzz saw rock n’ roll attitude.
