About Exit Clue
Exit Clue is an Indie Pop duo of cousins based in Denver, Colorado. Joe Lowery and Jared Houts vibrant, dancy tracks exude fun, honesty and ironic introspection.
With a taste for 1920’s speakeasies, neon lights and the passionate nihilism of the Y and Z generations, Exit Clue conveys and aesthetic of animalistic chaos mixed with patterned order. This aesthetic is symbolic of the mix of personalities between Joe and Jared, as well as the mix of genre and instrumentation in their music.
Prior to any release, Exit Clue signed with music publishing company , Consonance, in Denver and has a close relationship with their parent company, The Keep Recording Studio, both run by Grammy-nominated and platinum accredited audio engineers Jeff Kanan and Nick Sullivan.
Singer Joe Lowery has a significant history in the Denver music scene in prior band The Solid Ocean, who shared the stage with artists such as Death Cab For Cutie, The Boxer Rebellion, Colony House , Coasts and much more. This history precedes Exit Clue as a formidable presence in the Denver music scene and beyond.
Exit Clue have been riding the wave of their last single release, ‘Clever’ which was has been placed in multiple user curated Spotify playlists and other music blogs. It ahs received airplay on Denver’s iHeart radio station KTCL channel 93.3 and multiple college radio stations across the U.S.
The new single ‘Out Of Sight’ will be released on November 5th.
