Big Mono have today released their new debut single and video titled ‘A Thousand Times’. Guitar rock looking at the future. that is my first reaction. Glimpses of that guitar heavy anthemic sound from the past with a modern flair. Add to that a modern groove and the original style of vocalist Drew Davies, and you have a future classic from future legends.

Listen for yourself and take what you can from the lyrics and the music. Each drive the emotion of this song, each in its own endearing ways.

About ‘A Thousand Times’

‘A Thousand Times’ is groove-driven, filled with huge riffs with a raw and direct classic rock intensity. The track is the first single to be lifted off the bands debut album.

Neil stated: “I think we all knew this track was how we wanted to introduce the band. It’s the perfect Big Mono calling card. It was the first we song wrote, we love playing it and can’t wait for people to hear”

Asked about the lyrics, lead singer Drew added “The principle of the song is atonement; how a man could atone for his past by protecting and looking after his children. It was a song I wrote about my father”.

Formed during the pandemic with pedigree in the British rock scene, Big Mono is a new rock band for the classic rock fan. Big riffs, tight grooves and soaring vocals. With an album due in mid ’23, the band are set to hit the road to support the record, starting with a single launch show. A full set of dates will be announced very soon.
