Billy Starr is a singer, writer and music producer who lives and works in Chicago, Il
He is a member of BMI and has several songs listed there. He has written and produced two albums for his own bands titled “The Return of The Rockabilly Man” and his latest titled “Starr Live”. While living in California, he also wrote and produced a Christian Album for Annabelle Cruz titled “Annabelle, Someones’s Precious Child.” His three backround singers, Joanna Woods , Cornelia Baum and Kelly Stanley add their special magic to every song. After long thought, Billy has decided to call the band “STARR LIVE”.
For the last seven years, he has recorded at Chicago Recording (CRC) where the group maintains a large catalog of original music. Here, he works with Mat Lejeune his exclusive engineer and Jason Ryan his exclusive lead guitar player. On Saxophone is John Gannon who plays it hot and very cool.
Billy is currently working on a show tune that will be released soon.
