Carlin Tripp started writing original songs while attending college in Santa Fe in 2003, and never really stopped. Throughout the next 6 years, the songwriter traveled the country by bus doing everything he could to keep playing music until finally settling in New Bedford, MA in 2009.
Tripp began playing regularly around the greater MA area and eventually recorded his debut record Back to the Soil in 2013. From there he landed several gigs opening for nationally touring acts and continued with gigs all over New England. The artist, now settled in Boston, recently recorded The Shape of the Island EP, which became available on April 8th, 2018 and is a testament to where he is at with his sound right now.
