Darma is Adam Belo, from Tel Aviv, located in the center of Israel Adam has been producing electronic music since the beginning of 2000, and was part of Hipnotix, together with his older brother Yaki.
As Hipnotix they released their music on respected labels, such as HOMmega, and Noya, and their full-length album ‘Side Effect’ was released on Noya Records in the beginning of the year 2010, and received great feedback from the dance floors around the world. Hipnotix got to play on countries, such as, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Sweden, Russia, to name a few.
In the beginning of the year 2012, Adam was trying to develop the Hipnotix sound and music to try and create something a bit different using inspiration from different kind of music genres and the result was ‘One Night Stand’ that was released on HOMmega famous compilations series called ‘Israliens Vol 6 – Close Trance Encounters’.
After several weeks it becomes number 1 seller on Beatport Psy Trance Downloads Chart. ‘One Night Stand’ was supported by major DJ’s / Artists in the global Trance / Progressive Trance scene, such as, Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Astrix, Captain Hook, Paul Oakenfold, and many others. This was a new era for Adam as he understood that he needs to make something different for his new sound and he started Darma. His debut EP called ‘Deep Hole’ will be released on the 25th of June 2012 on Echoes Records, and will include 3 new tracks, and two interesting collaborations with Ace Ventura and with Vertical Mode.
These days Darma joined to Echoes Records artist’s roster, and he is working on creating new that will be followed during the rest of the year.
