Singer Markas Palubenka can be called a one-man orchestra whose music style is completely unique in European indie scene. Only few years into his career, Markas has already achieved more than many other artists during their whole lifetime. His masterful guitar riffs with a pinch of indie and electro-acoustic vibes has led Markas to become the opening act for such superstars as Katie Melua, and share stage with Lana Del Rey. Immense talent has already helped him go from local to global throwing gigs in Moscow, St Petersburg, major open-air festivals, and winning two Lithuanian music awards – Breakthrough of the Year and Alternative Act of the Year. Music critics appraise Markas’s vocals and music for being somewhat similar to Thom Yorke, Andrew Bird ar José González.
