Stanford Reid is a self- motivated dreamer embarking on a journey to make his dreams a part of his reality and find success in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Stanford began reading music and playing classical piano at the age of six. Throughout his childhood he had a number of musical influences and played alto saxophone among other instruments all of which he taught himself to play.
In 2011, Stanford began producing music under the alias Subliminal Messages. After receiving a placement on the Global Attack Mixtape Series, Stanford relocated to Jersey City, NJ, and soon after began composing songs for the indie alternative rock outfit, Mob Barley. After the group disbanded, Stanford decided to go solo and released the internet radio hit single, Go To Town, which led to the release of his first EP, S.O.F.T. His latest single Canopy was released 2/14/15 to much acclaim. Be on the lookout for Stanford Reid’s debut full length in July 2015!
