The Violets are a 4 piece alternative/indie rock band from North Yorkshire, England aged between 14 and 16 years of age. They recently released their second EP ‘He Goes Like This’ that is available for download on soundcloud. The Boys songs have been described as ‘a cross between Bombay bicycle club and Arctic Monkeys with vocals similar to Morrisey and Riffs with a distinguished Santana Feel’.

The singer Feargal is aged just 14 years old, with the rest of the band being 16. They have been playing in their hometown as much as possible and hope to break into newer territory. The lads practise religiously in the singers loft as much as they can and are eager for a wider audience to hear what they’re about. The young age only gives more energy to live performances and can be misguided by the maturity of Feargal’s lyrics and the thought put in to every one of their compositions.
