Lisa Remar has released her new single titled ‘Lankersham’, from her upcoming EP releasing April 6th.
Wise beyond her years and focused beyond her sight, Lisa Remar shows us with ‘Lankersham’ that beautiful and insightful music can coincide in an isolated world and comfort you like an old friend. Simple and delicate yet creates a hopeful outlook with it’s subtle angelic way about it, ‘Lankersham’ brings optimism from the chaotic way it was created and lets us know that self worth comes from the self and the effect of self help begins with hope.
“I felt seriously stuck, sidetracked from my purpose. My reality had become so skewed and I’d grown into someone I wasn’t really proud of at all. My focus had insidiously shifted into staying fame adjacent. it all ended quite abruptly, ties were cut off and I was completely drained over trying so desperately hard to seem like I wasn’t trying hard at all. The song is about being unexpectedly plucked into the lives of others just to be discarded like fast fashion or a happy meal toy.”
